Cali N Tito's at La Puerta del Sol - Eclectic Peruvian Cuisine with Full Bar and Diverse Menu

Restaurant has fun appearance and feel. Line to order food moved way too slow. Leche de tigre citrus marinade was way too strong on my order, all 5 us tried it at our table and couldn't eat it. However all our other meals were good. Really liked the Cuban sandwich and creme brule cheesecake.

Athens Gem: Cali N Tito's Exceeded the Hype! My friends in Athens told me so much about Cali N Tito's, but even they couldn't express just how great this place is! For my first visit, it didn't just meet my high expectations, it completely blew them out of the water. The atmosphere is an incredible experience itself. It’s got this wonderfully laid-back, vibrant, and authentic vibe—like stepping into a Tropical, Vibrant Open-Air Spot. The colorful, eclectic decor (especially the picnic tables painted with flags from different countries) and the open-air feel create a fun, inclusive, and lively setting. It’s the perfect place to hang out, relax, and just soak up the local Athens charm. This commitment to a great experience starts at the top: I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Bruno Rubio, who is truly fantastic and incredibly passionate about both his customers and delivering delicious food. But the food... wow. Everything was amazing. I tried two of their classics and they were flavor explosions. The Fish Tacos were perfectly grilled, fresh, and paired with that killer chipotle sauce—they’re an absolute must-try. I also had the Original Cuban sandwich, and it was pure perfection: savory grilled pork and ham, pressed just right with pickles, mustard, and Swiss cheese. From the incredible flavor and freshness of the food to the fantastic, unique atmosphere, Cali N Tito's is a true 5-star standout. I already can't wait for my next visit!

As you can tell from the pictures, this place is more about the experience than the food. No idea who thought of the decorations, but it's quite eclectic. School buses, picnic tables, barrels, old movies playing on projectors, arcade games, all in really bright colors... something else. You order your food at the counter, get a table number stand, and then find a seat; they bring your food to you later. No refills except for tea and water; the water is available at spigots attached to the support columns with barrels underneath. Yeah, really. Food was good. Not fantastic, but good. There is a playground area outside for kids; truth be told, I'm not sure if it's a legit playground or yet another aspect of the decorations, but it's there. Seats aren't very comfortable. It's either picnic tables or fairly flimsy chairs like you'd have at an outdoor program. I was pretty uncomfortable after a few minutes, but I like to sit back and lounge in a chair. If you don't mind leaning forward your whole meal, you'll be fine. A fun experience: emphasis on experience.

Hands down my go-to spot in Athens. The space just feels right. It’s warm, comfortable, the kind of place where you can kick back with friends for hours after stressful day of classes.. Their cubanos are legitimately mouth drooling, and the banana shake is great; this place is def my favorite spot in Athens!!

Been coming here for a year now & the food nor the service Ever changes! i love coming here. Juan & jose are the best servers! Food tastes like im in cuba & margarita pitchers always do its job! definitely recommend

the best Cuban i’ve ever had. Went for the first time with my dad yesterday and had to come back again today. Will be coming back later this week too. I’ve never left a review before but this was so damn good I had to.

Very authentic place to get great drinks and amazing food. When you walk in you grab a menu to know what you’re gonna order when you reach the front counter they take their time with you when you order and are very informative when you ask questions about the menu. They give you a number and bring you your food, hot and fresh and made to order. there’s a seating area outside with some fun stuff for the kids and also lots of seating inside. It gets very busy in the evening time so expect a line when you go in, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

Super unique setting with incredible food. The staff are friendly and the service is great — note this is not fast food but the prepared to order high quality dishes are worth the wait. There is nothing like it around.
